The FX Goes Twitter

We have  exciting news for you!

  The Freshmen FX has gone all a Twitter! 

The Freshmen FX has created another way for parents and students to stay up to date on school related news and activities. The schools have joined Twitter, as @EHSFX. Tweets will include information about athletic events, school meetings and important dates and other activities. For example, among the first tweets were notices about the Freshmen football and volleyball games. We believe this is one of several ways Edgewood can fulfill its goal of utilizing all possible avenues to keep students, parents and city residents informed about what goes on in their schools.

Here is how to get started using Twitter: 

1. Discover twitter by creating an account:

             www.twitter.com
   

2. Check back often Visit Twitter often so you'll see what's new from the accounts you follow and @EHSFX.

3. Get Twitter on your phone Activate your phone or download a Twitter application to your phone to get Tweets on the go.

How to Tweet

1. Set up your profile Complete your profile information. A picture of yourself and a short bio make you more interesting to others on Twitter.

2. Tweet out! Write your first Tweet. You have 140 characters to share what's happening where you are.

   
   

This weeks amazing student is Kayla H. She is a very shy and quiet young lady.  Many times I have to ask her to repeat herself because she speaks so softly.  However, SHE IS AMAZING!  I found out, by accident, that on her own she has started a online freshmen newspaper!  Can you believe that?  You can see the beginning of her adventure here.
